Michele, You have our sincere condolences on the loss of Bob. The suddenness of a heart attack is so difficult to deal with. Just do what you can when you can. Grief has no time limit. We highly recommend a group called Griefshare. It is a 13 week course of meeting and sharing and understanding this process. It's free and you can go anytime when you're ready. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself, Love, Cathy and Rich Schmitt

My heart breaks for your whole family, Bob. You were always so genuine and knowledgeable about everything we spoke about- in the courtroom, in the office, over the phone… I learned so much from you in my time at Victim Witness (well, my two times)- Your Earthly presence will be forever missed but I know you and Bill are on those Heavenly Trails together. Rest in Paradise “Old Guy from the Sheriff’s Office” Until we meet up again… With Sincere Sympathy and Love, Jen (King) Baxley & Family

Bob and I went to the same schools from elementary through high school. We never had a class together but I knew of him. We chatted at one or two of our high school reunions and learned that we were both in law enforcement. I know that he enjoyed his position as a deputy with the Frederick County, VA Sheriff's Office. My condolences to his wife and extended family. Fraternally, Lt. John McCloskey, retired, Montgomery County, MD Police Dept.
