Richard Eugene Angell, 82 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg.

Richard was born in 1943 in Allegheny County, VA the son of the late Zina and Phyllis Angell. He was a high school graduate who served our county in the United States Air Force. Richard retired after 40 years as a truck driver for HH Omps Trucking. He enjoyed putting together 3D wood puzzles and model cars and collecting Hess Collectable Cars.

Richard is survived by his wife, Penelope whom he married on May 26, 1978; sons, Chris Angell of Maurertown, VA, Michael Angell of California; grandchildren Elizabeth Kahn, Joshua Hoke and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his brother, Butch Angell.
