Rebecca A. “Becky” Williams, 72, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Winchester Medical Center.
Becky was born in 1947 in Winchester, Virginia, daughter of the late James and Irene Jenkins. She graduated from Lord Fairfax Community College, earning an Associate’s degree in Business. Becky was employed as a Security Specialist at FEMA and had been employed there since 1994. She was a member of the Winchester Moose Lodge Women of the Moose #1367. Becky loved to cook, bake, gardening, canning vegetables, and her favorite time of year were the holidays. Her greatest passion was spending time with the grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Susan A. Bailey (Jay) of Berryville, Virginia and Kim O’Quinn (Brandon) of Surf City, North Carolina; son, Martin Williams (Melissa) of Winchester, Virginia; sister, Gloria Davis of Cumberland, Maryland; brothers, James Jenkins (Barbara) of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Robert Jenkins (Carol) of Winchester, Virginia; grandchildren, Chelsea Rannells-Scott (John), Scott Kline, Brady Rannells, Matthew and Madison Williams all of Winchester, Virginia; and one great grandchild.
Becky was preceded in death by her significant other, Samuel L. Hensley and grandchild, Martin “Allen” Williams, Jr.
A Celebration of Life service will be from 6 pm to 9 pm on Wednesday at Shawnee Fire and Rescue Company, 2210 Valor Drive, Winchester, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Becky’s memory to Shawnee Fire and Rescue Company, 2210 Valor Drive, Winchester, Virginia 22601 or Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1702 East Highland Avenue, Suite 400, Phoenix, Arizona 85016.

So, so sorry to hear of Becky's passing. I went to James Wood with Becky and we were good friends. Unfortunately, I moved away and Becky and I both were so busy with life that we seldom saw each other. However, when we did it was like we were never apart. I hope to really catch up with her in heaven and for now I will always cherish my memories and our time together as young girls learning about life. May God Bless and bring comfort to all of Becky's family and friends.

Becky held the elevator door for me a few weeks ago, and brightened my day by just being herself.

Well Becky, (aka George), we have known each other and worked together before FEMA and you never cease to amaze. We never called each other by our real names you were George and I was Fred, you started calling me Fred many years ago so I gave you the name George. I and many others are going to miss you so much, you were respected and loved by so many. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to your children and those beautiful grandchildren that were the light of your life. Well George until we meet again, lots of love to a one of a kind lady!

Mom I dont know where to begin , had I know when we sat in Dr office this was going to be the results I would have done everything I could to convince you not to do it. This wasnt suppose to be the end result . You raised the 3 of us to be adults and raise our own children , I dont think any other mother could have done a better job. I'm going to miss seeing you at work every day and calling you at 6pm no matter what part of the country I'm in ,most all i will miss your Fried Chicken. Until I see you again . Love you. Your son

I looked so forward every morning to our little gatherings! Hanging out with you and the other members of our morning ritual was usually the highlight of my work day! I will miss seeing and talking to you! Rest easy and I will pray for comfort for your loved ones and there are many!

We miss you Grandma.. Holidays will not be the same.. Mom said she will work hard to perfect your potato salad, gravy, fried chicken and cookies just the way you did.. We live you so much..

Becky was a beautiful person who I admired and respected. She was caring and thoughtful. Please accept my condolences and know she will never be forgotten!

RIP Becky I will miss our early morning smokes I would come in early just so I could come down and see you and chat such a wonderful angel that god needed more. My thoughts and prayers are with her family she spoke of all with loving words.

Words cannot express the deep, deep sadness I feel for the loss of this wonderful lady. We worked together for many, many years and frequently sat next to each other. She was a rock in a turbulant place for me. We even went from applicant services to the security division together. Total shock, total shock. Love you always, Dear Becky.

This was one special lady. Always thinking of others first. She always made me laugh and sometimes cry. It's so hard for me to believe I won't see her at work . She was an Angel that helped everyone.

I am truly sorry for the recent passing of Becky, she will be missed by all of her coworkers and family. Becky was one of a kind who would tell you straight up what was on her mind if you liked it or not. Rest in peace all is well.

Becky has been a very close friend since 1994 when we both started at FEMA. She was a very loyal and loving friend. She would stand up for the underdog, not afraid to speak up. I will miss you.
