Raymond L. Brown
Raymond Leroy Brown, 58, of Winchester, Virginia, died Friday, February 10, 2012, in his home.
Mr. Brown was born in 1954, in Elgin, North Dakota, the son of the late Ora Spencer and Mildred Katherine Brown. He was a truck driver with Century Trucking.
Prior to living in Winchester he lived in Dade City, Florida, with his parents for a number of years. He was a Christian and is now at rest in heaven with his savior, Jesus Christ.
Mr. Brown was fun loving and loved to tell his “corny” jokes. Raymond loved to laugh and he loved his family.
Surviving is his son, David Eurad Brown of Dade City, Florida, brothers, Ronald Joseph Brown and Melvin Roy Brown of Atlanta, Michigan; Dale Brown and his wife, Debbie, of Hanceville, Alabama, James Eugene Brown of Ooltewah, Tennessee; sisters, Evelyn Ann Woernley and husband, Bob, of Cleveland, Ohio; Joyce Kathleen Edgell and husband, Ray, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Julianna Rae Martin and husband, Jimmy, of Troup Texas, Mary Louise Fox and husband, Marty, of Alvin, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth William Brown and Dennis Anthony Brown.
All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
