Rachel E. Partlow
Rachel Erin Partlow, 24, of Stephens City, VA died Monday, September 7, 2015 at her home.
Rachel was born in 1991 in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Ronald and Rebecca Partlow. She graduated with honors from Sherando High School, Class of 2009 and attended Virginia Commonwealth University and Lord Fairfax Community College. She also took online classes through Old Dominion University with her concentration in the field of psychology. She was a member of Strasburg Presbyterian Church. Rachel was very artistic, and was interested in photography, art, painting, jewelry making and crafts. She liked all kinds of music, loved basketball, especially the VCU and North Carolina Tar Heels teams and she attended the Virginia University basketball camps for three years in a row. She loved big sky Montana and the skiing there. She was well-rounded, liking everything from Disney movies to guns and hunting/fishing, and most of all, enjoyed being with her friends and family.
Surviving with her parents of Stephens City, VA is her paternal grandfather, Walter B. Partlow of Winchester, VA; paternal uncles, Jerry Partlow (Leslie Boyd), William Partlow (Jackie) and Dave Partlow (Brenda), all of Winchester; paternal aunt, Terrie Griffin (Paul) of Manchester, NH; maternal uncle, Carroll Estep of Strasburg, VA; her beloved dog, Dixie and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Barbara Jean Partlow and her maternal grandparents, H. Malcolm and Suzanne Estep.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with Reverend David Howard officiating. Interment will be private.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be David Matthew Partlow, Chris Partlow, Kelli Kangas, Michael Partlow and Brian Partlow.
