Phyllis T. Fout
Phyllis Joan Tisinger Fout, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, age 76, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012, in a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Fout was born in 1935 in Edinburg, Virginia, the daughter of Margaret Virginia Tisinger and the late Norman Lee Tisinger, Sr. She was a homemaker but also worked in production with Capitol Records for 10 years and also as a teacher’s aide with Frederick County Public Schools. Mrs. Fout enjoyed looking after her grandchildren. Her hobbies included family photography, going to yard sales and reading. She was a graduate of James Wood High School, Class of 1954.
She married John F. Fout on December 8, 1956, in Kernstown, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband, is her daughter, Lisa Fout Rott and husband, Frank, of Winchester; sons, John B. Fout and wife, Carolyn McInerney, of Falls Church, Virginia, Franklin L. Fout and wife, Kathy, of Winchester, Michael B. Fout and wife, Elizabeth, of Stephens City; eleven grandchildren, Ariella Rott, Joshua Rott, Olivia Rott, Don Beyer, Stephanie Kirby, Emma Fout, Jacob Fout, Ryan Fout, Danielle Fout, Katherine Fout and Lauren Fout; sister, Judy Chapman of Stephens City and two brothers, Norman L. Tisinger, Jr. and Gary V. Tisinger both of Winchester.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
