Peggy Joan Reid Robinson, 67 of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Peggy was born in 1958 in Leesburg, VA, the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Trussell Reid. She worked as a presser for People’s Dry Cleaning. She loved doing crossword puzzles and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. Peggy knew sign language, was strong-willed and was known for being very caring and helping others. Most of all she loved being NanNan to her 4 grandsons.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Sharice Reid; son, Travis Reid; grandsons, Zayne and Zayden Hughes and Zeclan and Zyler Jenkins; sisters, Nellie “Sis” Pumphrey, Betty “Mezie” Lanham, Nancy Blankenship and her brothers, Charles “Puddin” Reid.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her 4 brothers, David, James “Jimmy”, Howard “Brother” and Roger Reid and grandparents, Herbert W. Trussell and Nellie B. Kephart Trussell.

A memorial service will be held for Peggy on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 6pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
