Pauline Alma “Polly” Clark

Pauline Alma “Polly” Clark, age 79, of Winchester, VA, died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center. Mrs. Clark was born in 1933 in Winchester, VA, the daughter of the late Lloyd Joseph and Gretta Alma Light. She was employed at Abex – Brake Shoes retiring in 1988 after sixteen years of service. Mrs. Clark loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She married Abraham Lincoln Clark, Sr. in Williamsport, MD in October 24, 1953.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Karen S. Pultz and Darlene A. Clark, both of Winchester; four sons, Abraham L. Clark, Jr. of Front Royal VA, Jerry A. Clark, Richard L. Clark, Sr. and Gary L. Clark, all of Winchester; eight grandchildren, Richard L. Clark, Jr., Kimberly D. Fincham, Justin L. Clark, Lisa A. Harden, Amanda L. Skipper, Jennifer R. Clark, Samantha L. Pultz and Zachary A. Clark; ten great grandchildren, Jordan M. Clark, Matthew T. Clark, Cheyenne A. Harden, Emalea A. Clark, Joshua M. Clark, Michael L. Harden, Grace E. Clark, Chancey M. Clark, Antonio A. Medrano and Nevin J, Skipper, and three sisters, Shirlie A. Wood, Colleen Lafollette, and Patsy Wiley, all of Winchester. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ray Light.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 24 at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

To assist the family with burial expenses, memorial contributions may be made to Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
