Patricia Lecat

Patricia Lecat, 63, of Arlington, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Powhatan Nursing Home, Falls Church, Virginia.

Patricia was born in 1955 in France at a United States Army Base, the daughter of Ann-Mary Stewart and the late Ernest Lee Stewart. She was employed by Alultiiq Technical Services in Arlington. Patricia was a talented artist and author. She loved her dogs and the beach.

Surviving with her mother are her brother, Dr. Xavier Stewart of Winchester, Virginia; her nieces, Courtney Stewart of Salisbury, Maryland and Christina Stewart of Hebron, Maryland, as well as numerous relatives in France.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 10th in the Chapel at Shenandoah Memorial Park with Pastor Martha Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

A mass will also be held for Patricia at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Arlington at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 10th.

I met Patricia 4 years ago; She had a very beautiful personality, she was always with a smile to welcome you, she loved her work, she loved her dogs; I shared many times with her. Now I know that she is happy next to God. Rest in peace, friend Patricia. I will miss you.

It was a joy to work with Patricia; she had a style all her own and a smile to light a room. She also had the luckiest dogs based on how much she loved them. Patricia will be sorely missed but I know she is at peace; my life has truly been enriched by knowing her. RIP
