Patricia Hellmund, 72, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Hellmund was born in 1942, in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine Kondroski. She was a dedicated homemaker and spent some time working with her husband at Jacquar 1 Inc. as a bookkeeper. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be forever remembered for her love of gardening, the beach and spending time at the casino.

She married Harry Hellmund, III, in 1963, in New Jersey and they were happily married for fifty one years.

Surviving with her husband, are two daughters, Debra Hellmund and Cathy Hellmund both of Winchester; son, Harry Hellmund, IV, of New Jersey; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister, Judith Golden of Cranford, New Jersey.

All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
