I really thought Andy was a wonderful man and he was so down to earth, even after leaving Greenwood UM I kept tabs w him. The last time I saw him was In the hospital just wishing to be home w Miss Regina in his favorite chair w a kitty on his lap. For some reason that day I could not stop hugging him, maybe making up for lost time or hugs for a future date, who knows? I’m just happy I spent that time w him. Andy I know you’re in the arms of the lord and I’m happy that you’re not in anymore pain. Say hi to my daddy and mama when you see them

I am so heart broken Regina , for you and Mike and family. We thank God for the peace he gives us in knowing Andy is with the Lord and we will see him again in God’s timing. I will not be able to be with you, but will keep you all in my prayers, asking God to give you the strength you need everyday. I love you, Aunt Agnes.

Pastor Andy was a good friend as well as the leader of our church at Ridings Chapel. Our church like so many other small churches had been struggling with a shrinking congregation. He helped to motivate people to open their hearts and hear the call of lord. It was a privilege to have him call me late on the 23rd just to say thanks and our good byes. He will be missed! Rest in peace my friend.
