Pastor Andy Lindsey Brock, 73, of Frederick County, VA, returned home to his Heavenly Father Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Pastor Brock was born in 1952 in Wilmington, NC, son of the late Paul Brock and Annie Cooper. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and devoted his life to his Lord and Savior. Pastor Brock served many congregations in the area.

Pastor Brock married Regina Petersen in 2006 in Berkeley Springs, WV.

Surviving with his wife are daughters, Raini Newman and Marion Teaford; son, Steven Petersen, Jr; grandchildren, Wyatt Teaford, Joshua, Natalie and Elise Petersen; and brother, Michael Cooper.

A memorial service will be at 6 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Dr. Victor Gomez and Reverend Clay Knick. Interment will be private.

I really thought Andy was a wonderful man and he was so down to earth, even after leaving Greenwood UM I kept tabs w him. The last time I saw him was In the hospital just wishing to be home w Miss Regina in his favorite chair w a kitty on his lap. Pastor Andy was a good friend as well as the leader of our church at Ridings Chapel. Our church like so many other small churches had been struggling with a shrinking congregation. He helped to motivate people to open their hearts and hear the call of lord. It was a privilege to have him call me late on the 23rd just to say thanks and our good byes. He will be missed! Rest in peace my friend.
