Pamela “Pam” Jane Fox Kerns, 60, of Tahlequah, OK, died Friday, February 10, 2017, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Kerns was born in 1957, in Winchester, VA, the daughter of the late Lillian Manuel and Calvin Fox, Sr. She graduated from John Handley High School in 1975. She worked as a coordinator for Wright Real Estate in Tahlequah, OK, retiring in 2010. She was a former member of the Blue Ridge Board of Realtors. Pam loved all of her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed old country western music, loved to take care of her flowers, and also enjoyed traveling. She was an animal lover and liked to read. Pam was always helping everybody, especially her parents.
Mrs. Kerns is survived by her significant other of 16 years, Bobby Edward “Ed” Teague; her step-father, Melvin Manuel of Stephens City, VA; husband, Robert Kerns of Stephens City, VA; three sons, Robbie Kerns (Laura), of Tahlequah, OK, Todd Kerns (Kelly), of Tahlequah, OK, and Michael Teague (Brandi), of Tahlequah, OK; her daughter, Jennifer Teague (significant other, Miguel), of El Dorado, CA; six grandchildren: James, Randall, Angelena, Rhys, Alex, and Harley; two sisters, Linda Fox Marple, of Stephens City, VA and Nancy Orndorff, of Stephens City, VA; and three brothers, Calvin Dean Fox, Jr. (Diann), of Gore, VA, Gary L. Fox (Connie), of Stephens City, VA, and Roger Manuel, of Wardensville, WV.
Pam’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA, 22602 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Chuck R. Davis, Jr. officiating. Private interment will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Linaburg, Tom Marple, Michael Teague, Andy Miller, Willard Link, and Tommy Marple.
