Odessa M. Kelly

         Odessa Mae Burton Kelly, 97, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Friday, September 25, 2015, at a local nursing facility.

          Mrs. Kelly was born in 1918, in Frederick County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Snowden and Russell Rhodella Burton.  She was employed at National Fruit as an apple processer for over 26 years, retiring in 1983.  Mrs. Kelly was a member of Gainesboro United Methodist Church.  She was a volunteer at Gainesboro Fire Department.

          Surviving are four sons, Wayne Kelly (Kay) of Luray, Virginia, Junior Kelly of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, Hershell Kelly (Sharon) and Gary Kelly (Sue), all of Winchester; eight grandchildren, including one very special granddaughter, Rhonda Riley; numerous great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

          She is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Peggy Kelly, one grandchild, two sisters and four brothers.

          A private burial service for family will take place on Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Living Waters Christian Fellowship, 4137 Cedar Creek Grade Winchester, VA 22603 with Minister Roy Riley officiating.

        In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gainesboro United Methodist Church, 331 Gainesboro Rd, Winchester, VA 22603.
