Nayleigh Faith Sisler, 6 months young, journeyed to her Heavenly home Monday, November 7, 2016 while at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Nayleigh was born in April 2016 at Children’s National in Washington, D.C., the precious daughter of Jeremiah J. and Susan D. Sisler of Strasburg, Virginia.
Nayleigh was our little heart princess warrior from the beginning. She demonstrated true strength and courage in the midst of impossible odds. Her beauty and determination was truly an inspiration to many. Nayleigh will be forever remembered for her bright beautiful eyes, her unique ability to light up the room and her sassy personality. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving with her parents are her loving sister and brother, Natalie and Noah; paternal grandparents, Richard A. and Bernadette Sisler of Winchester, Virginia; maternal grandparents, Brian L. and Debbie Layman of Middletown, Virginia; paternal great-grandparent, Dwight M. Sisler of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; maternal great-grandparents, Louise B. Baker of Winchester, Virginia and Earl L. and Janet Layman of Stephens City, Virginia as well as many extended family members including aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
Nayleigh was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Ruth Sisler, William and Evelyn Talpas, and John F. Baker, Sr.
Nayleigh’s family wishes to offer their most sincere gratitude and appreciation for all those who have loved, cared and supported them throughout this journey.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11th, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12th, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia. A reception will follow at Millwood Station Banquet Hall, 252 Costello Drive, Winchester, Virginia.
