Nancy Jean Hipp, 82, of Stephens City, Virginia, died April 24, 2016 at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock, Virginia.
Mrs. Hipp was born in 1934 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late David and Edith Williams. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a dedicated parishioner of Calvary Church of the Brethren.
Her husband, Harry A. Hipp, Jr., whom she married on April 18, 1953 in Jefferson City, Indiana, preceded her in death on January 4, 2015.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lee Anne (Lee) Robertson, of Winchester, Virginia, Sharon L. Saenz, of Winchester, Virginia, and Kelly R. (Bill) Koelker, of Stephens City, Virginia; her son, Thomas R. (Companion Kathryn Spencer) Hipp, Sr., of Dayton, Ohio; her eight grandchildren, Tara Hott, Krista Twigg, Tom Hipp Jr., Julie Hipp, Tasha Harman, Shayla Hendrickson, Sarah Jagoe, and Billy Koelker; fourteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Lynne (Companion Carl Harbrant) Lewis; also survived by her are many loving friends including her church family at Calvary Church of the Brethren.
Friends may call from 1:30 until time of the funeral service, which will be conducted on May 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM, at Calvary Church of the Brethren, 578 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia 22602, with Pastor Clarence R. “Chuck” Davis, Jr. A fellowship meal will follow the service at the church.
