Morgan S. “Duke” Foulk
Morgan S. “Duke” Foulk, 85, of Frederick County, VA died Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Foulk was born in 1929 in Easton, PA, the son of the late Morgan S. Foulk and Isabel Foulk-Jones. He was a graduate of Easton Area High School, Class of 1949. Mr. Foulk was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for Pfizer, Inc. retiring in 1989. He was a long time member of Opeqon Presbyterian Church. Duke was an active and outgoing individual who worked and participated in many various organizations including Boy Scouts, Masonic Lodge, Martha’s Mission and was past president of several homeowner associations. His greatest passions were working as a volunteer EMT and firefighter for many years. Duke was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be forever remembered for his love of making people smile, fixing things when needed, playing Santa Claus at Christmas and spending summers golfing and boating. He will be greatly missed.
Mr. Foulk married Betty Lee M. Wilhelm-Oswald on April 25, 1975 in Easton, PA.
Surviving with his wife are sons, Terry Foulk and his wife Nancy of Easton, PA and Brian Foulk and his wife Robin of Nazareth, PA; stepdaughters, Donna Krivoski and her husband James of Easton, PA and Tracy Drumheller and her husband Jack of Clearbrook, VA; sister, Barbara “Bobbie” Troxell of Newcastle, PA; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Lindsey, Kristopher, Heather, Jamie, Jill, Jaclyn and Zachary; two great grandchildren, Miles and Norah as well as many extended family and close friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. with a service following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Witt officiating at The Villages at Orchard Ridge, 400 Clocktower Ridge Drive, Winchester, VA. A reception will follow the service.
