Michael Thomas Corrigan, 79, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Conway Medical Center.
Born in 1946 in Washington, D.C., Michael was the beloved son of the late Willard and Ruthann Corrigan. He was a proud graduate of James Wood High School and spent his career working in sales for the dairy industry.
Michael lived life to the fullest. He found great joy in playing golf, relaxing on the beach, and cheering on his beloved Penn State football team. Proud of his Irish heritage, Michael embraced life with warmth and humor, always ready with a smile or a story to share. He had a special love for his dogs, Mia and Chewy, who were constant companions. Above all, Michael cherished his family — they were the heart of his life and his greatest source of pride and happiness.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda, whom he married on May 9, 1990; his loving daughters, Kris Miller, Kari Delp (Charles), and Kelly Pallis (Thomas); his stepsons, Roger Kersey and Eric Kersey; his treasured grandchildren, Conrad Miller, Carson Miller, Lauren Davis (Cody), and Leksi Travitz; and his great-grandson, Chase Davis. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Cheryl Swartz (the late Charles) and Cathy Wingfield (Gary) and sister-in-law, Debbie Corrigan.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Corrigan.
