Megan Morris
Megan Morris, 60, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Morris was born in 1953, in Lancaster, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Garnet Morris. Megan was a homemaker and co owner of the Stephens City Family Drive-In Theatre as well as the Raleigh Road Outdoor Theatre in Henderson, North Carolina. She was an active member of the United Drive-In Theatre Owners Association (UDITOA) as well as a member of the United Methodist faith. Megan was an avid animal lover leaving behind her four faithful companions, three dogs, Oliver, Damon and Bubby, and one cat Socks. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time traveling and being with her friends and family.
She married James Kopp on August 14, 2004, in Annandale, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband are two step-daughters, Rosetta Saddler and husband, Steven, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Melissa Kopp of Warrenton, Virginia; two step-sons, Christopher Kopp and wife, Abby, of Alexandria, Virginia, Martin James Kopp of Haymarket, Virginia; and six grandchildren, Nina, J, Liana, Colten, Graydon and Barrett. Her sister, Vicky Morris, preceded her in death.
The family wishes to dedicate the feature presentations at the Stephens City Family Drive In this Saturday evening in Megan’s honor.
The family will receive friends for a gathering of remembrance on Sunday, from 1:00-3:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, will be private.
