Mary Anne Moschetto
Mary Anne Bright Moschetto, 74, of Frederick County, Virginia, peacefully passed on Monday, October 15, 2012, at her home with her family.
Mary Anne was born in 1938, in Washington D.C., the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Bright. She was an Accounting Supervisor with Radiation Systems, retiring in 2000, after 21 years of service. Mrs. Moschetto was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church as well as a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women, Frances Cabrini Lodge Order Sons of Italy in America, and Past Virginia State Recording Secretary of the State Lodge Order Sons of Italy in America. She was an avid supporter of the Winchester/Frederick Co./Clarke Co. Republican Women and many other organizations over the years such as the Knights of Columbus and Red Hat Women.
On September 14, 1957 she married her high school sweetheart, Louis J. Moschetto and spent fifty five wonderful years together. They exemplified to all those they touched the joy of love, patience, kindness and the pleasure of marriage and family.
Comforting her husband is her daughter, Angela Miller and husband, Kevin, of Purcellville, Virginia; sons, Michael Moschetto and wife, Meg, of Dallas, Texas; Thomas Moschetto and wife, Beth, of Ashburn Virginia; Paul Moschetto of Winchester; nine grandchildren, Valerie Crowl, Jennifer Crowl, Ashleigh Miller, Jonathan Miller, Cecelia Moschetto, Emily Moschetto, Joseph Moschetto, Danielle Moschetto Ghazaleh and Anthony Moschetto; Eight great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Angela Bright of Davidsonville, Maryland, and Josephine Rosato of Clarksburg, Maryland and her husband Donato.
One brother, Charles Bright, preceded her in death.
The family will celebrate her life with friends and family on Wednesday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart directly following the mass.
