Memorial Service

Martha Lou Light, 86 of Winchester, VA, passed peacefully at the hospital surrounded by her immediate family. Martha is the daughter of the late Paul Dewey Campbell and Bessie Eunicebell Clowser Leach.

Martha was preceded in death by her grandson, Andrew Alan Light and her husband of 67 years, John A. Light, Sr.

She is survived by her grandson, John Isaac Light and his wife, Shawna, her great-granddaughter, Alexia Rose Light and her granddaughter, Sarah Irene Light.

Martha’s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 3pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Morrison. A private burial will take place at a later date.
