What a great memorial today. I worked with Mark many years ago when we were both neophytes. Mark was my right hand man and I depended upon him a lot. I only wish we stayed connected, but it appears he kept on doing the same superb work that I relied upon back then. Outside of work, my wife Lauryn, Mickey, Mark, and others would get together regularly for game nights. Those are great memories. Good soul. So sorry Mickey.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark at FCPS. He was a great guy who was fair and friendly. Sorry to hear of passing and I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers.
Lee Harant left a message on January 5, 2018:
My condolences to Mickey, family and friends. Mark never had a bad day in the years that I worked with him and knew him back in the early 80's. He always had a way of making everything better by his actions and his laugh. Earth has had a loss but Heaven has made a fantastic gain. Via Con Dios my friend.

Over the course of almost twenty years I had the rare opportunity to work with Mark, then supervise him and finally to work for him. And I can testify to the fact that he was a great worker, a great employee and a great boss. I have worked in this business for over 40 years and I can truly state that there is no one I respected or admired more than Mark. He was without any doubt the most competent and capable person I have known. But even more than that, he was a great friend. He would do anything for you and on many occasions he did for me. I will miss him greatly - I already do.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
