Madeline K. Abrell

Madeline K. Abrell, 85, of Frederick County, VA died Friday, May 24, 2013 in Front Royal, Virginia.

Mrs. Abrell was born in 1928 in Kirby, West Virginia, the daughter the late Harold B. and Gertrude F. Pyles.  She was a homemaker, and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, and the Methodist Women’s Club.

Mrs. Abrell was married to James D. Abrell, who died on December 15, 1979. Her first husband, Dale Fleming, preceded her in death on September 16, 1970.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Fleming and husband, Junior Brill of Armel, VA; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Fleming of Stephens City, VA; two grandsons, J.D. Fleming and Courtney Fleming; three sisters, Alma DeHaven of Gainesboro, VA, Betty Toth of Fairfax, VA and Phyllis Park of Augusta, WV, and a brother, Harry Pyles. She was preceded in death by her son, Dickie Fleming, six brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday at Macedonia Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
