Lois F. Dellinger

Lois Faye Rexrode Dellinger, 78, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, in her home.

Mrs. Dellinger was born in 1935, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late James and Daisy Rexrode. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, who loved her family and home.

She married Max Matthew Dellinger on October 19, 1953, in Mount Jackson, Virginia. He preceded her in death on January 24, 1999.

Surviving is her daughter, Diane Jenkins and husband, Charles, of Lakeland, Florida; son, Michael Dellinger and fiancé, Liz Sharp, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two grandchildren, Michael Dellinger, Jr. and Megan Dellinger and fiancé, Nathan Rogers; and great grandchild, Aubreigh Rogers. Her brother, Vernon Rexrode and sister, Lillie Rexrode, preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
