Lois Everline, age 71 of Winchester, VA, went on to be with her Savior on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Lois was born in 1953, in Winchester, VA, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Everline. She was a graduate of the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind in Staunton, VA from 1967 to 1973.
Lois was a teacher’s aide at Frederick Douglass Elementary School in Winchester for 10 years and then went on to work for NW Works in Winchester where she worked for 35 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church from 1953 until 2022 when she joined Burnt Factory Church. While at First United Methodist Church she was a member of the Florence Nightingale Sunday School Class and the Golden Nightingale Sunday School Class. Lois was also a member of United Methodist Women. She was also a lifetime member of The Federation of the Blind.
Lois is survived by many nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Along with her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Ann Nagy.
A visitation will be held for Lois on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 10am with a service to be conducted at 11am all held at Burnt Factory Church. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
