Linda Rae Grace, 70 of Winchester, VA passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Linda was born in 1951 in Morgantown, WV to the late James and Ethel Garrett Varnell. She served our country as Staff Sargent in the United States Army where she also earned her Associates Degree. Linda was a dog lover and animal rights activist, she also was a proof reader and reader of mystery novels. Linda loved her family and was a great cook, making family dinners.

Linda married Kenneth Grace on June 20, 1987 in Oakton, VA.

Linda is survived by her husband Kenneth, sisters, Karen Barnes (David), Patty Huba (Thomas), Shirley Levesque and Sandra Cumpston  (Joseph); brother, Howard Ford; nephew/son, Bill Cumpston, her many fur babies, and her many, many nieces and nephews that she loved so much.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother in law, Kenneth Levesque.

A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 3:30pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
