Lee K. “JoJo” Chia, 52, of Lake Frederick, Frederick County, Virginia, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, at home with her husband by her side.

JoJo was born in 1966 in Malaysia, the daughter of Keng Kew Quek and the late Mong Way Cha. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. JoJo was a Registered Nurse, employed at Mid-Atlantic Health Care in Warrenton, Virginia. She was a member of Shenandoah Lodge and Athletic Club, and enjoyed active activities like gardening, hiking, swimming, water volley ball, pickle ball, walking the trail with friends. Jojo also enjoyed traveling like Cruising and touring other cities around the world.

She married William Chu on November 9, 1995 in Eufaula, Alabama.

Surviving with her husband are sisters, Lee Huang Chia and Lee Kian Cha, both of Atlanta, Georgia; and brothers, Raymond Cha of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Kay Teck Chia of Atlanta, Georgia.

All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
