I was fortunate to start work with Larry in 1985, he was a kind gentleman and a comfortable person to be around.I missed his presence when he retired from Volvo ,but was happy for him. I found out lately that he died and found the obituary online. I offer my deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of this beautiful person.

I was both shocked and saddened when I learned of Larry's passing. Larry was the ultimate father and husband. He loved and cherished his family and was so proud of their accomplishments. I considered Larry not only a co-worker but a good friend. I am so sorry for your loss. Please do not underestimate the number of people Larry touched while on this earth....he was the ultimate gentleman.

Mike, I wasn't sure how else to get in touch with you, so in case you look back here, I wanted to thank you for your kind words about my dad and let you know my mom and I appreciate you posting a message. I remember Dad saying he liked working with you -- and so did I. You were my first real "boss" and I remember well how much fun it was working for you during the summer.

Mr. Hayes was a wonderful man. He had such a kindness about him, and you always felt good after leaving a conversation with him. He (and Rita) were also great friends to my parents. My parents still reminisce and celebrate all of their memories of their times with them. He will not be forgotten.
