Laura S. “Scotti” Bonnett Fabrizio
Laura Scott “Scotti” Bonnett Fabrizio, 62, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.
Ms. Fabrizio was born in 1951, in Danville, Virginia, the daughter of the late William F. and Nancy Bonnett, Jr. She co-owned, with her son, Yellow Cab of Winchester, Virginia. Ms. Fabrizio was an activist with Citizens for Justice in Virginia Courts. For the previous 13 years, “Scotti” devoted much of her time to innocence projects and specifically fighting for the release and exoneration of Jeffery Franklin Washington alongside his parents, Franklin and Chris Washington of Winchester VA. Jeffery will be an “honorary” Pallbearer for the family.
Surviving is her daughter, Laura Lee Carver and son, Randy Cadmus, both of Winchester, Virginia.
She is preceded in death by one grandchild, Olivia Scott Stansfield and one brother, William F. Bonnett, III.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday at 1:00 PM in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
