Kristen Dawn “Kizzy” Frey, 33, of Winchester, Virginia, died Monday, August 31, 2015, at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Care Facility.

         Miss Frey was born in 1982, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of John G. Frey of Boyce, Virginia and Linda S. Bourne of Winchester.  She was a graduate of Loudoun County High School and of Shenandoah University where she received a Bachelor Degree of Science in Psychology.  Kristen loved music, enjoyed writing poetry and was always there to help others.  She was also an ambassador for FARA (Fredreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance)

         Surviving with her parents are her sisters, Jennie A. Frey and Sherry L. Michael; grandmother, Anna Harlow; her loving niece, Savanah Michael; two nephews, Logan Michael and John Keel; many aunts and uncles, extended family and friends.

         Her brother, John H. Frey, preceded her in death.

         The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel – 1260 Front Royal Pike – Winchester, VA 22602.

         A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Mike Mayton officiating.  Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum, Frederick County, Virginia.

         Pallbearers will be Nick Gaddy, Robbie Gaddy, Josh Gaddy, Keith Aberegg, Jr., Chad Harlow and Logan Michael.
