Kimberly “Kim” Shoup Bailey, 46, of Winchester, Virginia, was surrounded by her loving family and friends, when she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center.
Ms. Bailey was born in 1968, in Virginia, the daughter of Dewey N. and Carol M. Sink, Jr. of Winchester and Edward T. Shoup. She was a graduate of John Hanley High School, Class of 1986. Ms. Bailey was a manager with Pier 1 Imports in Winchester. She was a member of New Life Christian Church, a member of the Praise Team and sang solos with the church choir. Ms. Bailey was very close to her friends in the Bible Study Group. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving with her parents is her sister, Tracy S. Stottlemyer and husband, Tony; grandmother, Wanda S. Morgan; uncles, Barry Shelor, Melvin Morgan, Carl Sink, Robert Sink, Mark Sink and Marvin Sink; special aunt, Cindy Shelor; nephews, Trevor J. and Tyler B. Stottlemyer; and many loving cousins and friends.
Her brother, Christopher Shoup; grandparents, Melvin T. Morgan, Dewey N. Sink, Sr., Judith S. Fuller and Wilbur and Virginia Shoup, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 5:00-9:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor Larry Veach and Pastor Kraig Bishop officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
