Kathrine P. Dorsey, 83, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Friday, September 23, 2016, peacefully at her home.
Mrs. Dorsey was born in 1933 in Middletown, VA, the daughter of the late Charles T. and Evelyn Willis. Kathrine was employed as school bus driver with Frederick County Transportation for over 38 years where she was passionate about being behind the wheel and making lifelong friends along the way. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She will be remembered for her love of family, friends and her one of kind sense of humor. Kathrine will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Dorsey was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Pangle in 1980 and later her husband, Elmer Dorsey, in 1991.
Mrs. Dorsey is survived by her daughter, Diane M. Sturdivant and her significant other Ronald Trippett of Middletown, VA; two sons, Donald L. “Donnie” Pangle, Jr., and his wife Nancy-Fishel-Pangle of Winchester, Virginia and Ronald T. “Tommy” Pangle and his wife Kathy of Stephens City, Virginia, three grandchildren, Jamie, Lynn and Marc and one great-grandchild, Brian as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Mrs. Dorsey was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy and her brother Bobby.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Trey Hensley officiating. Entombment will take place at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
