My deepest condolences as you grieve the passing of your beautiful mom. She had a heart that was full of love and devotion for her beautiful family. I’m very grateful to have reconnected through social media a few years back. We graduated from BHS together but as things go in life, it’s easy to lose touch as people go their own ways. Reconnecting was like revisiting a wonderful and warm ray of beautiful sunshine (your mom). We were able to catch up and follow each other’s family for quite awhile, which we both enjoyed. I want Karen’s family to know that she was loved and cherished by me and I’m very sad that we weren’t able to reconnect in person. We were looking forward to meeting again and sharing the warmest of hugs at our 50th BHS reunion in 2023. I know that she knew I loved her and that matters because when we are ready to move on to the next life, we should know who we truly mattered to in this life. I pray that you will all keep her love and beautiful spirit string so the younger children will always know what an amazing human being she was. May your loss be somewhat eased in knowing Karen’s light and love live within each and every one of you. God bless her soul and bless each of you with her memory.

My deepest thoughts and prayers to Karen's family. We had reconnected on Facebook some time ago. We had great conversations and lifted each other up in PMs. She was just as friendly as she was back at Berkley High. I was looking forward to hopefully seeing her at our 50 Year Reunion. She will leave an empty place in my heart. I will be thinking of you all at her Celebration of Life.
