Justin Funkhouser, 33, of Clarke County, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Winchester Medical Center.
Justin was born in 1985 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Barbara Funkhouser and the late Donald Funkhouser; stepson of Gary Richards. He attended John Handley High School and Clarke County High School. Justin was an Optician at Loudoun Eye Care in Ashburn, Virginia.
Surviving with his mother and stepfather is his wife, Brennah Thomas; children, Autumn M. Thomas and Alijah M. Thomas; brother, Christopher B. Funkhouser (Emily) and their children, Tyler, Ava, and Austin; and brother, Tyler A. Richards.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Life stories may be shared at this time by Justin’s family and friends. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Justin’s memory to Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601 MEMO: Funkhouser Service.
