Judith Diane Gilman (Terry), 83, of Stephenson, VA, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.
Ms. Gilman was born in 1942 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Robert and Sarah Terry. She was a homemaker and was known as “Mom” to all that knew her. Ms. Gilman enjoyed cooking and loved to travel. She was of the Catholic faith and a warrior for her Saviour.
Her husband, William J. Gilman, whom she married on January 28, 1961 in Arlington, VA preceded her in death in 2022.
Surviving are her sons, Mike Gilman, Daniel Gilman (Christina), and Sean Gilman (Eddie); grandchildren, Cory Gilman, Landen Helstrom, Danny Gilman, Caylee Gilman, Cassie Toft; and great grandchildren, Ashton and Elijah Gilman.
Along with her parents and husband, Ms. Gilman is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Terry and brothers, Jack, Roger, and Jimmy Terry.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 9 am to 10 am on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. A funeral service will be conducted following the gathering at 10 am. Interment will be in Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
