John Milburn Eckert, Sr.

John Milburn Eckert Sr., 83, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Monday, April 16, 2012, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Eckert was born in 1929, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late John and Margaret Eckert. He was a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, retiring in 1995. Mr. Eckert was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Army.

He married Hazel Sager on May 12, 1983, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Surviving with his wife is his daughter, Dennyse Gunts and husband, Brent, sons, John Eckert and wife, Fran, Mark Eckert and wife, Debra; step-daughter, Vicki Feltner and husband, Steve; one grandson, Jacob Eckert; one step grandson, Christopher Feltner and wife Karina; and his sister, Cecilia Topper.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Cemetery.
