John Douglas LeMarr, Jr., 54 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

John was born May 28, 1971, in Winchester, the son of John Douglas LeMarr, Sr. and Kitty Huffman LeMarr. He was a 1990 graduate from James Wood High School. In 2019 he went to work for AireServ in Front Royal and was their current Shop Manager. Previous to that he was a draft technician for BJ Sager and Virginia Eagle.

John attended Round Hill Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and gardening. He was “King of the Grill” around the house & did most of the cooking. He built the log house that was their home for the past 16 years. Most of all John loved spending time with his daughter and was proud of all of her accomplishments.

He is survived by his parents, John and Kitty; his spouse, Sally Bennett; daughters, Elizabeth LeMarr and Aliza Parker (Josh); bonus mom, Judy Whitacre; grandchildren, Adalynn and Weston, siblings, Jason and Jennifer, along with their spouses; nephews, Jacob and Gabriel. Special neighbors, the Hawkins and Snapp families. The BFB’s and their spouses. The Brambles and his work family at AireServ.

A casual visitation will be held outside, weather permitting for John on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm with a service to be held the following day, Monday, September 22, 2025, at 1pm all held at Round Hill Church. A time of food and fellowship will be held after the service at West Oaks Market.
