Jimmie R. “Paka” Mullins
Jimmie Ray “Paka” Mullins, 73, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Saturday, August 10, 2013, in his home.
Mr. Mullins was born in 1939, in Clintwood, Virginia, the son of the late Clinton and Addie Mullins. He was a retired owner/contractor of Jim Mullins Painting. He enjoyed drag racing, NASCAR and fishing. Mr. Mullins was an avid outdoorsman.
He married Linda Haendel on August 27, 1962, in Fairfax, Virginia.
Surviving with his wife are two sons, Steve Mullins of Middletown, Virginia, Robert Mullins of Winchester, Virginia; six grandchildren, Rachael Mullins, Mark Mullins, Chelsea Mullins, Stevie Mullins, Holden Mullins and April Mullins; one great granddaughter, GiGi Mullins; and sister, Rita Bell Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia. One son, Mark Mullins preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
