Jeffrey C. Stefanowicz, 65 of Winchester, VA passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at his home.

Jeff was born in 1956 in Sharon, PA the son of the late Joseph and Audrey Stefanowicz. He was a graduate of Lock Haven University where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science. Jeff worked as a government IT Contractor and retired in 2014 from Accenture. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed traveling all over on hunting trips. Jeff enjoyed cooking and loved a good wine. He loved watching all kinds of sports and especially loved spending time with his four granddaughters.

He married Laurie Hopkins on June 30, 1979 in Canisteo, NY.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Laurie; daughter, Kristen Mistler (Anthony) of Richmond, VA; son, Robert “Bobby” Stefanowicz (Katherine) of Cross Junction, VA; grandchildren, Madisyn, Evelyn, Sadie and Emily; brothers, Joe Stefan and Randy Stefanowicz.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Stefanowicz.

All services for Jeff will be private.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Jeff’s passing. I met Jeff back in his college football days when my dad took me to his last game. Over the years I had the pleasure of hunting and fishing with him. He was a great man and will be missed. My condolences to the Stefanowiz family.
