Jane R. Wever
Jane Faulkner Rosenberger Wever, 59, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in her home.
Mrs. Wever was born in 1952, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of the late Stephen M. and Louetta Jane Rosenberger. She was a retired Speech Pathologist with Frederick County Public School serving for 33 years. After her retirement she was employed by Winchester Speech Pathology in Winchester, Virginia. Mrs. Wever was a member of Braddock Street United Methodist Church as well as the church choir. In addition she was a member of the NEA and ASHA. Mrs. Wever was the coordinator of Speech Pathology Program in Frederick County and the Speech Pathologist at Apple Pie Ridge School from its inception until her retirement. She was a graduate of James Madison University receiving a Master of Science in Speech Pathology. Mrs. Wever also earned a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Mrs. Wever was an avid painter, loved to travel and enjoyed writing poetry, children’s stories and writings for the church.
She married Robert B. Wever on August 2, 1975, in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband is her son, Zeb Wever and her brother, John Rosenberger all of Winchester, Virginia.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Braddock Street United Methodist Church with Reverend Sarah Pugh and Reverend Tony Layman officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, prior to the service, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, at the church.
