Susan Duane Scott left a message on March 5, 2013:
Dear Mrs. Keller and Daughters; my deepest sympathies to all of you. Your dad was one of the nicest, sweetest men I have ever had the privilege to know. Not only did he extend his friendship to me at church but also every time I would come into the Bargain Corner in need of jeans. When we are young we some times do not value our elders as we should, but Mr. Keller was valued by me and others who "grew up with him" throughout the years.

Susan and family, I was sorry not to have had the chance to meet your father, as he surely had a wide and interesting career, from military (my father is also a vet) to government to entrepreneur. Still I know that he must have been a wonderful parent as I see Susan being one as well. Please accept my deepest condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Karen d'Aboville

Dear Susan and family, I was inspired to read of your father's accomplishments, especially in WWII as my father is also a veteran. I wish I could have known him-it seems like he had an extremely varied and interesting career, from military to government to entrepreneur. In any case, he must have been extremely proud of you all and a wonderful parent as I see Susan being a wonderful parent to her children. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Karen d'Aboville
