Jim was a wonderful guy, good friend, and mentor that I will miss a lot. The beginning of my career in the industry 24 years ago, I met and worked with Jim at Salem Fruit Growers. Here my training began with Jim and it continued in NY and on into VA. Working in the orchards and vineyards, fishing on his boat, taking fishing charters, and eating at good restaurants with some excellent and lively conversations with him and Marti are some of the things that I will miss. Jim was deeply involved in agriculture and his customers. If there was a problem or issue with their crops, he would work to find a solution to fix it. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Jim - My thoughts and Prayers to Marti and Family. Patti Webb
