James “Jimmy” Edward Dick, 56, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at his home.
Jimmy was born in 1961 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Dorothy June Dick and the late Richard Ralph Dick. He was a graduate of John Handley High School, Class of 1979. Jimmy was employed at Cives Steel Company. He was a member of the Eagles Club, loved his 1969 Mustang Fastback, enjoyed antiquing, and a true animal lover (especially cats). A loving son and brother that will be missed.
Jimmy is survived by his mother and brothers, Ronald Vernon Dick of Richmond, Virginia and Gregory Keith Dick of Winchester, Virginia and also his nieces, Laura Dick and Julie Carlton.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 am to 12 pm on Monday, February 12th, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 12 pm. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Jimmy may be made to Winchester SPCA, 115 Featherbed Lane, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
