James E. Worley, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Jim lived a life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family.

Born in 1943, Jim spent his life cultivating deep relationships and offering steady support to those around him. He was married to his beloved wife, Martha Garretson Worley, for 40 beautiful years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, shared dreams, and enduring companionship. Their bond was a testament to love’s lasting power.

Jim was a cancer survivor, having faced his diagnosis with remarkable courage and resilience. His strength, during that time, inspired all who knew him. His recovery was a testament to his determination and will to live fully.

He is survived by his cherished daughter, Angela P. Comiskey, her husband John and one grandchild — John Jr. He is also survived by his brother, Everett Worley, sister, Marilyn Ritchie, and many nieces and nephews.

Jim will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his warm smile, and the way he made everyone feel at home. He touched many lives with his generosity and quiet wisdom. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
