Bob and June Fikac left a message on November 10, 2018:
Our favorite memories of JD was a yearly gathering of family members and friends having meals together, laughing and sharing stories while laboring over large kettles making apple butter, building bee hives or jarring honey. JD will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever. Thanks for sharing and leaving us good memories.
Butch and Betty Spaid left a message on November 9, 2018:
Tina and family, JD will be sorely missed by everyone. He was a very likable guy and had many friends. We used to go to the shop and talk quite a while.
Ted Reed left a message on November 6, 2018:
J. D. had the absolutely greatest flattop haircut of anyone in James Wood and the most wonderful smile that made friends. The flattop went away, but that smile lasted his whole lifetime. He was a great guy and so many will miss him but I hope one day all of us will join him in eternity.
