James “Jimmy” Douglas McArthur Miller, 72, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Miller was born in 1943, in Virginia, the son of the late Royal S. and Alvina Miller. He was the owner and operator of Millers Used Cars Salvage and Repair. His greatest enjoyments were cars, tractors and anything with wheels. Mr. Miller was a member of Mt. View United Methodist Church in Star Tannery, Virginia.
He married Judy Darlene Polk on November 25, 1983, in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Surviving with his wife is his daughter, Tammy Lynn Frawley and husband, Mike, of Winchester, Virginia; sons, Joseph Allen Miller and wife, Kristen, of Winchester, Scott Douglas Miller and wife, Pamela, of Woodstock; grandchildren, Breeana Lynn Frawley, Jessica Rose Miller, Emily Miller and Tyler Miller; and his brother, Robert John Miller, of Stephens City, Virginia. Jimmy was also survived by a nephew that lived with him Corey Warner.
Two sisters, Alyce Face and Janie Hamilton, preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Dan Anderson, Dennis Virts, Joseph Miller, Collin Huff, Corey Warner, Phillip Ensell, Thomas Polk.
The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Mt. View United Methodist Church Cemetery, Star Tannery, Virginia.
