James “Jim” Couch, 81, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at his home.

Mr. Couch was born in 1937 in Odessa, New York, the son of the late Christine and William Couch. He was a Chemical Engineer with NASA, retiring in 1997.

He married Marjorie Coleman on June 22, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Rhonda, of Wenatchee, Washington; grandchildren, Carrie Couch and Abigail Reeves, both of Wenatchee, Washington; three great grandchildren of Wenatchee, Washington; brothers, Bill Couch (Mary Jo) of Trumansburg, New York, Terry Couch (Eileen) of New Hartford, New York, and Mike Couch of Horseheads, New York.

Along with his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Couch.

All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel will be private.
