Jaime Nicole Carter, 41 of Strasburg, VA, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at her home.

Jaime was born in 1982 in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Timothy and Beverly Carter. She was employed at Home Depot Dist. Center as Operations Manager. Jaime enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, couponing, shopping, and cleaning. She was a former member of Winchester Eagles 824 Lodge.

She leaves behind her son, Jacob Carter (Bri) of Stephens City, VA; fiancé, Kevin Hurst of Strasburg, VA; sisters, Cassondra Carter (Suzanne) of Stephens City, VA, Ashley Parrill (preceded in death Bobby) of Winchester, VA and her brother, Keith Carter (Keenan) of Winchester, VA. Her nieces and nephews Alexus Wiley, Rylan Carter, Hannah Merriner, Logan Carter, Lucas Carter, Laekyn Carter.

A visitation will be held for Jaime on Monday, May 13, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 2pm all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

I miss you as much as the day you left us and that will never change, life with you and life without you is so different, the impact you made on others around you was monumental. I love you with all of my heart and will cherish all of the times we got even though i would do anything just to have one more day.

To all of Jamie's family- I am so very sorry to hear about Jamie's passing. She was in my very first class that I taught 33 years ago! I will never forget how spunky she was in 3rd grade and how often she challenged the boys on the basketball court. I've seen her in passing over the years and she always greeted me with a hug! I am so surprised by this news. May God comfort all of you.
