Jackalyn “Jackie” Charlene Stephenson Keaton, also known as “Big Heart”, 51, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, in VCU Hospital, Richmond, Virginia.
Mrs. Keaton was born in 1958 in Washington D. C., the daughter of Lena C. Stephenson and the late Jack M. Stephenson. She was a C.S.T.
Technician with Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Keaton was a member of Winchester Church of God. She was a graduate of Frederick High School, Frederick, Maryland, Class of 1976.
She married Larry Edward Keaton on July 18, 1987, in Mt. Falls Park, Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with her mother and husband, are her sisters, Donna Gillian and her husband Shawn of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Jaye Baker of Frederick, Maryland; in-laws, Walter and Mary Keaton of Hotchkiss, West Virginia; brother-in-laws, Terry Keaton and his wife Bessie of Front Royal, Virginia, Basil Keaton and his wife Charlotte of Freezeland, West Virginia, Charlie Keaton and his wife Sharon of Slabfork, West Virginia; sister-in -law, Nelda Childs of Hinton, West Virginia, Sharon Meadows and her husband Ronnie of Freezeland, West Virginia; Nieces and Nephews, Jack L. Miller, Lawrence L, Geisler III, Denaye R. Baker, Rodney R. Baker, Jr.; lifelong friends, Sandy and Tim Stapleton of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Kittie Bly of Mt. Falls, Virginia, Linde Zeirden of Winchester, Virginia, and Nicky Mauck of Pennsylvania.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, at Winchester Church of God, 2080 North Frederick Pike, Winchester, Virginia, with Pastor Bryan Ogle and Pastor Terry Keaton officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice in Mrs. Keaton’s name.

Jackie had a true love for life, wind in her hair, sunshine on her face, smell of flowers, sparkle in her eyes at the sight of a new born child. She loved her family and friends with a passion that is hard to find.
