Iva Willingham Lee, age 76, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Winchester Medical Center.
Iva was born in 1940 in Clarke County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Marshall A. and Theda B. Willingham. Iva was a graduate of the Class of 1959 of Clarke County High School in Berryville, Virginia. She worked in the data processing office of the Winchester Medical Center where she retired after 38 years of service. She was a past member of the Women of the Moose.
Iva was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who knew her. She loved camping and all animals.
Iva’s husband of 58 years, James W. Lee, preceded her in death on February 2, 2012.
Iva is survived by her daughters, Diane L. Boyce and Jennifer Lee; her grandson, B.J. Boyce and wife, Karen; four great-granddaughters, Kyleigh Parrill, Hailee Boyce, Gabriella Graham, and Caydence Boyce; sisters, Wanda V. Wilson and Pat Murphy and husband, Douglas; and brother, Kenneth Lee Willingham and wife, Janet. A sister, Audrey Crim, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 11-12 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia.
The funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday at 12 pm at Omps South Chapel with Rev. Dr. Victor Gomez officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
