Jim Muse left a message on September 30, 2015:
My sincerest condolences to the Cockrell family. As you well know, "Buzzy" and I go back to the time we spent together at Wheelus AB, Libya. We shared a room in the 1950th AACS Squadron for about one year. Due to Buzzy's personality and outlook on life, I'm sure he will be missed by many people. He was always enjoyable to be around. May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy for the Cockrell Family and Linda. I had the honor of meeting Buzz and Linda in 2014 when I became his caretaker. On that 1st day, I knew that Buzz was someone special. He was like a father to me. We became friends instantly. He taught me about antiques, horse racing, and baseball. He even gave me his Orioles t-shirt. Every morning for breakfast he wanted 4 slices of bacon, scrambled eggs with cheese, toast and coffee. He loved his bacon! I felt awful leaving Buzz when I was offered a new job, but he was so understanding. I visited him several times after that and he always called to keep me posted on his health. Buzz passed away on the 13th anniversary of my sister's passing. I'm sure she is now learning about antiques, horse racing, and baseball. Buzz was a special man in my life and I am going to miss him so very much!
